Circle the legals with a sharpie

I was planning to start writing my 3-night story, with night one today or night, but instead I started re-reading Queen of Wands, a web-comic that has since completed and I used to read from it's near begin, but now is re-posting the comics with commentary. Now you have the choice to read the comic with commentary from the creator/artist or sans-commentary. I like sans-ing things. It's so 'without culottes'.

Otherwise, I've had a good day. This morning I put on the album "Sneaky" by Comet Gain, and as I heard the first song starting up, I started dancing. No joke. That song is dancable to the max. Twice, twice I have danced to that song today. After I went to school for awhile to study and meet a friend I came home, then went to the store, then upon returning home, putting the food in it's place, and turning on my computer, then I put on the album. The same thing happened, although with some anticipation: I danced. Somewhat the same, but this time a little different and with a lil' more 'umph!' I wasn't just dancing either. I was dancing to the song. I was dancing with the song. Really, that is the only way I see to dance. Well, choreographed dances have their place, but free-form: I feel the beats, the twangs, the sound that allows not one person to stay seated...damn, that stuff is boom badda boom. By which I mean: shing shing shing!

By the way, I like that Comet Gain album (thanks again Em!). It's a varied album that is a bit exploratory in the music, rather than rock upon rock upon rock. Not that there is anything wrong with bands, good bands, that have songs that just rock and rock and then here's another one that rocks, but variety in a band is nice. Even if it doesn't completely work, better a risk than the boring. Bit of something to say for myself though. Which is really to say that I've been reading a lot of comics lately. Print and computer!

Hot dang. Spending too much time staring at the computer. I meant to write this as my closeout and goodnight for the evening, but closing procedures take time. I swear, at my first job (at a restaurant) I took something like an hour one evening to mop the place. This wasn't a large place either. Nope. Quite small place and the patrons area was mostly carpeted, so it was only a little stuff out front, behind the bar, and the bathrooms. Usually took me about 15-20 minutes at most. I don't know what was up with me that night. Although, by the way I acted sometimes, more spaced out than usual, my co-workers figured I was spliffed out on something; had a bit of the narcos before work; maybe slipped some synthemesc in my moloko to make the rabbit flow a bit more horrorshow. Really, though, I'd just keep refolding the same bag over, and over, and over, because there was something not quite the same about my folds that day. That happened at least once I can think of, the folding of a bag after I put the two containers of food for a delivery (I was the delivery boy-in black slacks, white button up and a tie!). As for the drugs...no. I didn't even drink then, well, barely.

Now, I'm barely in the limits of alcohol city.
