Like a true sailor

I started adding pictures from the Peep Off. There are plenty more to add, but I filled up my free person space. So, if I'm not lazy tomorrow I'll add the remaining pictures. Check the peep link in the first sentence for the link. I also found other peep pictures on flickr:

Many of my pictures look similar, but from a different angle. I'm in a couple of them as the dude in a blue KDVS shirt with a messenger bag. My head is shaved now, but the stylish mustache and long side burns are still there.

Otherwise, I spent most of the weekend just outside Santa Cruz, on Sunset Beach, with Jas, Mikee, and Mikee brother. We went to Mountain View to see Depeche Mode on Thursday and the show was awesome. They sound great and I was even able to ignore most of the people. Although, I didn't care for the some of the video footage used so us people on the grass in the back of the ampitheatre could see the stage a little better. I would have rather they just set a camera to watch the stage instead of doing stupid music video footage by moving the camera all around so it's hard to focus and zeroing in on Dave Gahan's crotch everytime he grabbed himself. That man does not just make a quick grip either. He grabs hold of that thing and thrusts to the crowd. Only Dave Gahan can touch Dave Gahan's crotch.

My favorite parts of their set was the encore when Martin Gore came out and sang "Shake the Disease" to only a piano backup by one of the keyboard guys. Then, for the next song the rest of the band came back out and played "Photographic," a bit of a faster version than on Speak and Spell, but very awesome. That part was funny because Dave Gahan announced the song by saying it was the first song they recorded and during the song many of the people in the crowd stood around confused. I say they looked confused because compared to every other song, almost half the crowd moved and danced about to "Photographic". I don't think many people are familiar with that song or maybe just the way they played it.

That was an entertaining night. I'm stinky now, though, because we all just sat around yesterday and left around 11pm. My clothes smell like a homemade version of Old Spice. --------------------------------------- Do you live in or around Rancho Cordova? I'm just wondering because I keep getting hits on my stat counter and I'm just wondering if it's someone I know. Say something at the guestbook or through the contact link. Thank you, and have a pleasant tomato.
