Every week at work I'm asked how my weekend was and for a moment I reflect back realizing I don't remember much about my weekend. I sort of remember the weather, sitting on the couch, and doing a radio show. I feel like there was something I wanted to write about for this weekend, but I cannot think of much. Now that I think back I got to see the Thunder Boys and I Walk the Line put on a great show at an okay bar. It was a mixed crowd and there wasn't much room for the small amount out to see some music, but it was a good show for somewhere I wouldn't normally go. One of the best parts of the weekend, though, was Killimanjaro's revival of an old game: spin the quarter. Spin a quarter, keep it spinning, repeat. Good fun on the kitchen floor. Klinger couldn't resist joining and adding her own twist, literally, on the game.
Killimanjaro smacks you with folk and pop. I toss in some indie-ish, post punk and a deep flavor of Bananas and punk rock. Then Killimanjaro smacks you again with electronic. Holy shit, it's interim.
